On Saturday, March 16, 2024 at approximately 3:25 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 600 block of Yale Street for a disturbance. Police contacted a victim who reported that he was traveling on Yale Street when a subject came out of a house and yelled at him. An argument ensued at which time another subject came out of the house and smashed the rear window of his vehicle. The suspect was identified as Christopher Butler. After further investigation, Butler was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial.

CHARGES: Malicious Destruction of Property less than $1,000

On Friday morning at approximately 9:44 AM the Cumberland Police responded to a residence in the 100 block of E. Industrial Boulevard for a destruction of property complaint. Investigation revealed Nicholas Craig Moreland was involved in a disturbance inside a residence with several people. Moreland was made to leave the residence by the people inside. Once he left he pulled on a fence, causing damage to it. Moreland was located by police and he was placed under arrest for Destruction of Property -$500. He was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial in District Court.
