On Wednesday November 2, 2022, at approximately 1200 hours officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to an address in the 700 block of Hill Top Drive for a disturbance. Police made contact with a victim on scene who advised they were arguing with Ashley Hook. Police attempted to speak with Hook who refused to cooperate and began yelling at officers. She was advised to stop creating a disturbance. Hook continued her actions and was subsequently placed under arrest. She was transported to police headquarters and released on a citation.

On Friday oficers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to 714 Elm Street for a report of a disturbance in the street.   When officers arrived in the area they made contact with, Terry Lynn Ford Sr., who was arguing with a female.   During an investigation into the matter, officers learned that Ford was upset that the female parked her car in front of his residence.   While officers were attempting to talk to Ford he continued to yell and curse at the female who was inside her vehicle.   Ford was instructed by the officers numerous times to lower his voice and stop causing a disturbance.   Ford failed to obey the officer's orders and had to be placed under arrest.   Several witnesses in the area advised the officers that Ford was creating problems earlier in the evening that prompted a call to the police.   Ford was taken to the Cumberland City Police Department for processing.




As a result of the arrest, Terry Lynn Ford Sr. was charged with disorderly conduct and failure to obey a lawful order.   Ford was taken before the District Court Commissioner and held on $3,000 bond in the Allegany County Detention Center.
