On Monday May 13th, 2024, at approximately 9:34 hours officers responded to the 10 block of Pennsylvania Avenue for a reported disturbance. Upon officer’s arrival they observed several individuals in an active disturbance. Officers spoke with several of the individuals involved, including Shauntae MacDonald, and Samantha Booker. At the conclusion of the incident, they were advised to keep the peace or they would be placed under arrest. At approximately 12:32 am, officers again responded for a disturbance at the same location. Upon officer’s arrival they observed Shauntae and Samantha to again be engaged in a disturbance and observed several neighbors in the area to be observing the disturbance. Both Shauntae and Samantha were issued Criminal Citations and released pending their trial at District Court.
Arrest: Shauntae MacDonald, age 43, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Disorderly Conduct, Fail to Obey.

On Saturday, April 13, 2024 at approximately 6:18 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to an establishment on Valley Street for a disturbance. When officers arrived on scene, they observed Samantha Booker and Desirae Washington yelling and attempting to start fights with other people. Booker and Washington were told multiple times by officers to leave the property. Booker and Washington eventually went to the other side of the street. During the investigation, an alleged victim reported that Washington had spit on him. Booker and Washington began yelling again from across the street. Booker and Washington were placed under arrest. Washington resisted arrest, but officers were able to take her into custody. They were transported to police headquarters for processing. Booker was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial. Washington was transported to Central Booking. She was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and posted a $3,000 unsecured personal bond.
