On Sunday, April 3, 2022 at approximately 12:46 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 600 block of Princeton Street for a disturbance. Upon officers’ arrival, they contacted the resident who advised that Aaron Soules was at the residence. It was known to police that the resident had a Protective Order against Soules and he was not allowed to be there. While speaking with the resident, Soules ran out of the rear of the residence. Officers ordered Soules to stop and he continued to flee on foot, attracting the attention of multiple neighbors in the area. Officers were able to take Soules into custody after a brief foot chase. Soules was transported to the police station for processing and then taken to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner who remanded him to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $1,000 bond.

On March 2nd, 2022 the Cumberland Police were called to a business on Ali Ghan Rd for a subject that was intoxicated and refusing to leave the property. Upon arrival officers contacted the male, who initially refused to provide them with identification. The male eventually provided his identification however refused to leave the property and began to cause a disturbance. After failing to comply with several warnings to cease his behavior, he was placed under arrest. Travis Cody Sloas, age 31, of Bedford Pa was charged with Trespassing on Private Property, Disorderly Conduct and Fail to Obey a Reasonable and Lawful Order. He was taken to Central Booking for his initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner. He was later released on his own recognizance.
