On Friday, May 9, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department were on patrol in the area of Queen City Drive when they observed a vehicle with improper registration. Upon conducting the traffic stop, the Officer observed evidence of impairment. The investigation was completed, and as a result, the operator, Leon Corley, was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. Corley was later released on citations pending his trial at the Allegany District Court.
ARRESTED: Leon Frank Corley AGE: 40 Cumberland, Maryland
CHARGES: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Unregistered Vehicle, Uninsured Vehicle, Displaying Plates to Another Vehicle, Driving Without a License.

On Saturday March 11th, 2023 at approximately 3:00 am an officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had stopped on I-68 East Bound. Upon contacting the operator, Janelle Fox, the officer observed evidence of impairment. The officer continued their investigation and subsequently placed Fox under arrest. Fox was later released on citations and awaits her trial at District Court.
Arrest: Janelle Whitney Fox, age 37, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: DUI Related Citations.
