The Cumberland Police Department is seeking the publics assistance in a hit and run investigation. On March 24th, 2024 at approximately 3:10 am officers of the Cumberland Police Department were dispatched to the 500 block of Henderson Avenue for a motor vehicle crash. Upon officer’s arrival they observed one vehicle with significant disabling damage and another to have damage as well. The officers observed both vehicles to have been unoccupied and the damage on the vehicles indicated another vehicle was involved that had fled the scene. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Cumberland Police Department at 301-777-1600.

The Cumberland Police department is investigating a hit and run that occurred on March 7th, 2023 at approximately 11:50 am. During the incident green Jeep was struck by a red passenger car in the area of Queen City Drive and Harrison Street. The Cumberland Police Department is requesting any witnesses of the hit and run to contact the Department at 301-777-1600.
