On Friday at approximately 7:20 PM the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to the 300 Block of Bedford Street for a hit and run. Officers spoke to the victim and they advised their vehicle was parked behind a red vehicle. When they went to leave they observed a dent in the front bumper with red paint transfer. Officers with the Cumberland Police Dept on Friday responded to the area of Davidson St near Henderson Ave in reference to a hit and run complaint. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim who advised that their vehicle was parked unattended when an unknown vehicle sideswiped his vehicle causing minor damage. Several witnesses advised that they observed a light blue Chevy Cruze in the area at the time of the crash. Officers checked the area for the suspect vehicle with negative results.
