On Saturday the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Dustin Wayne Youngblood charging him with theft. The summons was issued by District Court in reference to a complaint filed with the Commissioner’s Office alleging that on April 20th, 2021 he stole PS4 equipment from the complainant’s residence located on Michigan Avenue. Youngblood signed and received copies of the charging documents and was released pending trial.

Later Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Danielle Lee Twigg charging her with assault and mace/chemical device with intent to injure. The summons was issued by District Court in reference to a complaint filed with the Commissioner Office alleging the Twigg spray the complainant in the face with mace on April 6th, 2021 in the Greene Street area. Twigg signed and received copies of the charging document and was released pending trial.

On Friday the Cumberland City Police arrested Kevin Wayne Snider Jr, age 30, of Cumberland MD. Snider was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant stemming from an incident that had occurred on July 22nd, 2018. During that incident, Officers responded to a business in the 600 block of Industrial Blvd in reference to a theft. Officers contacted a representative of the business who advised that Snider was also an employee of the business. It is alleged that Snider had used counterfeit currency to make purchases in the store. It was also alleged that Snider had also switched counterfeit currency with real currency. As a result of the investigation, Snider was charged with Possessing a Forged Document, Issuing Forged Currency, and Theft Scheme less than $100. Snider was arrested and taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await his Initial Appearance with a District Court Commissioner.

The Cumberland City Police arrested Wesley Clinton Wills, age 25, of Frostburg MD. Wills was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant stemming from an incident that had occurred on January 15th, 2020, in Ellerslie MD. Wills was charged with 2 counts of Second Degree Assault. Wills was arrested and taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await his Initial Appearance with a District Court Commissioner.
