On Sunday, January 1st, 2023, the Cumberland City Police arrested Carrie Anne Parker, 45, of Cumberland MD. Parker was arrested on two active Bench Warrants issued by the Allegany County District Court on December 2nd, 2022. The warrants allege that Parker violated the terms and conditions of probation that stemmed from a previous DUI charge. After being taken into custody, she was transported to Central Booking for processing. Upon her intake, she was discovered to be in possession of a quantity of suspected fentanyl and cocaine. During her Initial Appearance, Parker was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center where she is currently being held without bond.

On Sunday, January 1st, 2023, The Cumberland City Police arrested Elton Leroy Harris Jr, 39, of Cumberland MD. Harris was arrested on an active Body Attachment issued by the Allegany County Circuit Court on December 22, 2022. The Body Attachment was issued as a result of Harris failing to appear in a Child Support matter. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner his Initial Appearance where he was released on his own personal recognizance.

The Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on Emily Rebecca Goetschius, age 30 of Cumberland, MD. The Warrant charged her with Violation of Probation. She was taken to Central Booking for her initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner and was held without bond.

The Cumberland Police served two Arrest Warrants on Steven Delaine Kienhofer, age 69, of Cumberland, MD. Both Warrants charged Kienhofer with Fail to Appear for his court dates. He was taken to Central Booking for his initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner and was released on his own recognizance.

The Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on Britton Thomas Garlitz, age 25, of Cumberland, MD. The Warrant charged Garlitz with 3rd Degree Burglary, 4th Degree Burglary, Second Degree Assault, and Disturbing the Peace. Garlitz was taken to Central Booking for his initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner and was released after posting 10% of his $7,500 bond.
