Queen City Drive Theft Arrest

On Thursday, August 8, 2024, at approximately 6:00 pm, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business in the double-digit block of Queen City Drive for the report of a theft complaint. It was learned that a female left the store with several items without paying. After an investigation was completed Sager was placed under arrest. Sager was issued a Criminal Citation for theft and released on scene, pending her trial at District Court.

Arrest: Heather Renee Sager, age 31, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charge: Theft Less than $100.00

On Saturday, July 20, 2024 at approximately 7:35 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business on Queen City Drive for a shoplifting complaint.  Police contacted the staff who reported that the suspect stole merchandise and fled the area.  Officers later located the suspect in the area of the Canal Shops and identified him as Harry Frotman.  Frotman was placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking.  He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and posted a $1,000 unsecured personal bond.

CHARGES:  Theft less than $100
