Spring Forward

March 11th, 2023 by WCBC Radio

If you’re looking forward to more daylight in the evenings, this will be good news. If you enjoy sleeping, not so much. Daylight saving time officially begins at 2 a.m. Sunday for most of the U.S., meaning the majority of Americans will "spring forward" by setting their clocks ahead one hour before turning in Saturday night.

Daylight saving time is upon us, which means its time to  “spring forward” and that means you lose an hour of sleep. Daylight saving time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 8. That means clocks will jump from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m.  You should set your clocks forward before going to bed Saturday night. Daylight saving time will end Sunday, Nov. 1 when you “fall back” an hour.
