On February 5th, 2022 and officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of I-68 East Bound and the Willowbrook Road exit. Upon officers contact with the occupants they observed items of paraphernalia in plain view. After a subsequent search of the vehicle and persons a quantity of controlled dangerous substances and paraphernalia were located. The officer continued their investigation and determined that the combination of the controlled dangerous substances and paraphernalia were being used in combination for distribution. The occupants, Shawn Judy and Jennifer Warnick were subsequently placed under arrest and taken before a District Court Commissioner, where Judy was released on an unsecured $7,500 bond, and Warnick was released on her own recognizance.
Arrest: Shawn Philip Judy, age 37, Cumberland Maryland
Charges: Possession With Intent to Distribute, Possession not Marijuana, Two Counts of Possession of Paraphernalia
Arrest: Jennifer Lynn Warnick, age 40, Cumberland Maryland
Charges: Four Counts of Possession not Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

On January 13th, 2022 officers of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Decatur Street. Officers contacted the occupants, Charles Parker and Stephanie Faith. The officers observed criminal indicators from the occupants, and requested a K-9 to scan the vehicle. The K-9 indicated a positive alert on the vehicle and after a subsequent search of the vehicle a quantity of controlled dangerous substances; US Currency and ammunition were located. Through the officers investigation they also learned that Stephanie had an active Arrest Warrant. Both Stephanie and Charles were placed under arrest and taken before a District Court Commissioner where Charles was held on a $5,000 bond, and Stephanie was held on $500. Both Charles and Stephanie have additional charges pending.
Arrest: Charles Bret Parker Jr, age 40, Cumberland Maryland
Charges: Possession With Intent to Distribute, Three Counts of Possession not Marijuana, and Illegal Possession of Ammunition.
Arrest: Stephanie Michelle Faith, age 34, Cumberland Maryland
Charges: Violation of Probation.
