Trespass Arrest

On October 21st, 2023 officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 700 block of Park Street for a trespassing complaint. Upon officers arrival they contacted Damian Seltzer, who was already trespassed from the property. Seltzer was then issued a Criminal Citation for trespassing and was released pending his trial at District Court.

Arrest: Damian Moshe Seltzer, age 45, Cumberland Maryland
Charge: Trespassing.

On Friday August 16, 2013, at 11:31 pm, officers of the Cumberland City Police Department responded to disturbance at a private residence on Camden Avenue.  Investigation into this matter revealed that Ronald Giles, age 25 of Cumberland entered and remained on the property after being told by the property owner to leave.  Giles failed to comply and was placed in custody and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where he was criminally cited and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.   On Saturday August 17, 2013, at 1:59 am, Cumberland City Police officers responded to the same residence on Camden Avenue as it was learned that Giles returned to the residence after being notified not to return.  Officers located Giles behind the residence.  It was learned that Giles allegedly stole a cell phone and keys from the property owner.  He was placed in custody and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where he was processed, served and later to be taken for a bond review at the Allegany County District Court Commissioners office.

CHARGE:  Trespass (2 counts), Theft Less than $100.00.
