Trespassing Arrests

On Tuesday April 16th, 2024 at approximately 2:12am, officers of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a foot patrol of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, when they contacted Elias Harr and Jessica Porter, to be inside a railroad car. They were located feet away from signage indicating the area was closed and had a large amount of property in the area. They were issued Criminal Citations for trespassing, and being on railroad equipment without authority, and were advised to remove their belongings and to vacate the area. At approximately 3:26 am officers located Clifford Dewoehrel to be trespassing on CSX property, that is clearly marked as “No trespassing”. Dewoehrel was issued a Criminal Citation and was advised to vacate the area. A short time later officers conducted another foot patrol in the area of Bridge Street when they observed Harr to be sleeping in a city parklet that was closed. He was placed under arrest and later released on Criminal Citaions.

Arrest: Elias James Harr, age 44, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Two Counts of Trespassing, Being on Railroad Equipment without Authority, Littering, Camping Ordinance Violation.

Arrest: Jessica Nicole Porter, age 36, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Trespassing, Being on Railroad Equipment without Authority.

Arrest: Clifford Lee Dewoehrel, age 61, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Trespassing.

On Sunday February 11th, 2024 at approximately 6:01 pm officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business in the 700 block of Park Street for a reported trespassing complaint. Upon officer’s arrival they contacted Drezdin Delgado, who was previously served with a “No Trespass” letter from the business. Delgado was issued a Criminal Citation for trespassing, and awaits his trial at the District Court.

Arrest: Drezdin Jose Delgado, age 22, Cumberland Maryland.
Charge: Trespassing.

On Sunday February 11th, 2024 officers of the Cumberland Police Department served a Criminal Summons on Abree Braithwaite. The Criminal Summons was issued by the District Court stemming from a January 19th, 2024 trespassing incident. During this incident officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 400 block of Race Street and spoke with the victim. The victim provided officers with video surveillance of Braithwaite entering the property past clearly posted “No Trespassing” signs. An application for charges was completed and resulted in the issuance of this Criminal Summons. Braithwaite signed for her Criminal Summons and was released pending her trial at the District Court.

Arrest: Abree Danicka-Nickol Braithwate, age 30, Cumberland Maryland.
Charge: Trespassing.
