On Friday at approximately 5:30 PM, Deputes of the Allegany County Sheriff's Office responded to Rt. 220 at Milnor Avenue in Bowling green for a reported single vehicle crash with injuries. Deputies learned that 29 year old Andrew Clark of Cresaptown was operating a 2012 Chevrolet car when the vehicle traveled out of the south bound lane and struck a utility pole, snapping it in two. Clark was transported by ambulance to WMRMC for apparent non-life-threatening injuries. The roadway was closed for a time, and traffic re-routed, due to downed utility lines and the broken pole.  Clark was charged with failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision. Bowling Green Fire Department and Cresaptown Ambulance assisted at the scene. Cumberland City Police, who were in the area after taking a prisoner to the Detention Center, also assisted with traffic control until deputies arrived.
