Virginia Ave Theft Arrest

On July 18th, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Michael Anthony Cullum, 35, of Cumberland MD. Cullum was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court for an incident that occurred on September 22nd, 2023. On that date, the Cumberland Police responded to a property in the 200 block of Virginia Ave for the report of a theft. The investigation revealed that Cullum had removed two commercial coin operated dryers from the rear of the property. As a result of the investigation, an application for charges was submitted and an Arrest Warrant issued. Cullum was taken to the District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was released on a $1500 unsecured bond.

On Thursday November 30th, 2023 Officers of the Cumberland Police Department were dispatched to Sheetz Store on Virginia Ave for a theft in progress. Upon arrival Donovan Owenn Grabill was found sitting in the isle while eating items from the store shelf. Donovan Grabill failed to comply with Officers, was arrested and taken to ACDC.

Charges: Theft less than $100, Obstructing and Hinder
