On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a Bench Warrant on Tavon Torrell Gray. The Allegany County District Court issued the warrant for Failing to Appear at trial. The original charges stemmed from an incident on June 18th, 2024 where Gray was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing the Public Peace. Gray was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance where he was released on his own recognizance.
Arrest: Tavon Torrell Gray, age 19, Cumberland, Maryland.
On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served an Arrest Warrant on Jessica Dawn Resh. The Allegany County District Court issued the warrant as a result of an incident that occurred on August 4th, 2024 at approximately 12:49 pm. Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 1500 Block of East Oldtown Road for the report of a court order violation. Upon arrival, the complainant advised Resh was in violation of the order. After further investigation, Officers filed for charges at the District Court. Once the Arrest Warrant was obtained, Resh was arrested and taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance where she was released on her own recognizance.

On 07/25/2024 at approximately 6:00 AM the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of Baltimore Avenue for a motor vehicle crash. The accident was investigated and a tow truck was requested to remove the at fault vehicle. When the tow truck began to remove the at fault vehicle, the driver Joshua Moore began to yell and stood in front of the tow truck blocking it from leaving. An officer advised Moore to stop creating a disturbance. Moore continued yelling which caused a resident of the 300 block of Baltimore Avenue to come outside and observe the disturbance. Officers advised Moore he was under arrest. Moore did not comply and began to resist the arrest. After a brief struggle Moore was placed into custody. Moore was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center for central booking. Moore received a hearing before a District Court Commissioner and was released on his personal recognizance.
