ACM Suspect in Custody, Police Chief Praises Individuals Involved

“We committed him on an emergency petition, followed by the arrest warrant, charged him with threats of mass violence.  He’s currently held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.”

With the help of a concerned citizen and Mayor Ray Morriss, the Cumberland Police Department was able to act quickly…

“It was almost simultaneous.  I see the email from the concerned citizen—who, by the way, we’re going to get him some money through the Allegany Mineral County Crime Solver Association for bringing it to our attention—and I received the post from the Mayor.  So, I want to thank Mayor Morriss and this concerned citizen.”
