Route 28 and Falcon Way Traffic Light Underway

Plans are underway for a traffic light at the Route 28 and Falcon Way intersection in Mineral County.  Local and state representatives have pushed for the additional light at the intersection for over a decade, according to Delegate Gary Howell.  Howell says utility poles will have to be moved away from the highway, but the project bid is set to be put out on September 15^th…

“It’s been a team effort.  Going all the way back to Ruth Rohan and Dave Sypolt, Craig Blair, Charlie Trump working together and then moving into Rick Hillenbrand and then Randy Smith as well—the current ones that represent Mineral County.  We’ve been working on this as a team effort.”
