Applications Open for City’s Local Government Academy

The City of Cumberland’s 3^rd Citizens Local Government Academy will be starting Thursday, September 10^th and go through October 29^th.  Applications are being accepted through Friday, August 28^th.  Interested individuals can apply through the City’s website, according to Administrator Jeff Silka…

“There’s no charge.  City residents will be accepted first—we are limiting it again to twenty—then we’ll take Allegany County Residents.  If you know anybody who wants a behind the scenes look at government—see how it actually works and get out there and touch feel some of our equipment, send them to the website.”
