Bartlett Gifts Heartly House

At 100 years of age, former congressman Roscoe Bartlett continues to help the District 6 community he served for twenty years.  Heartly House, a Frederick County group that provides emergency shelter and other services for power-based violence victims, will receive $200,000 from Bartlett to establish a maintenance fund to help enhance and protect facilities across Heartly House properties. Bartlett said the group provides essential services that strengthen the entire community.  Roscoe Bartlett hit the centenary mark on June 3.
