Board of Public Works Approves Funds for Allegany County

The Maryland Board of Public Works voted to give financial support to several Allegany County projects at its July 1^st meeting.  Allegany College of Maryland will receive 2.4 million dollars for its Workforce Development and Training Center.  The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad will receive $325,000 for its operations.  Westernport and Lonaconing will receive $25,000 apiece for downtown façade projects.
