Bob Adams Remembers September 11th

Many people were going about their daily jobs when news came of the attacks on New York City and Washington on September 11^th 2001.  Bob Adams of Adams Family Funeral Home says he was at work, just recovering from a heart attack. He tells WCBC he wanted to go help but had to stay in town…

“It reminded me of Vietnam; all those people being killed at one time. And I wanted to volunteer to go up there and wasn’t in shape to do it. In fact, I was even called to come to the Pentagon as a counselor for PTSD.”
