Bob Adams Remembers September 11th

Many people were going about their daily jobs when news came of the attacks on New York City and Washington on September 11th 2001.  Bob Adams of Adams Family Funeral Home says he was at work, just recovering from a heart attack. He tells WCBC he wanted to go help but had to stay in town…

“It reminded me of Vietnam; all those people being killed at one time. And I wanted to volunteer to go up there and wasn’t in shape to do it. In fact, I was even called to come to the Pentagon as a counselor for PTSD.”
