Body of Hampshire County Swimmer Found

The body of the Hampshire County woman who went missing after a swimming incident was located Wednesday in the water near the Wapacoma Campground, according to the Hampshire County Sheriff’s Department.  WVMetroNews says the woman disappeared while swimming in the waters of the South Branch of the Potomac River on Monday afternoon just five miles from Romney.  The victim’s family has been notified. The victim’s name was not released.
