Bridge To Be Named For Farrell

The long awaited replacement of a pedestrian bridge in Bel Air has finally been completed and it will be named in honor of the man who spearheaded the work. Recently, David Bohn was on WCBC discussing the neighborhood bridge in Bel Air and said that the late Bob Farrell who served on the Allegany County Board of Education from 2018 till his passing in 2024, was a major part of the project…
“To see that bridge finally finished, it’s something that he wanted. And we’re going to have a plaque there and it’s going to be acknowledging him – his name alongside the bridge as the Bob Farrell Pedestrian Bridge.”
