WV Eighth Graders Learn History With “Mountain Moves”

West Virginia’s eighth graders will be learning the Mountain State’s History a little differently this year.  On Monday, Governor Patrick Morrisey unveiled a new educational board game called Mountain Moves.  Designed to engage eighth grade students, Governor Morrisey says the goal is to bring West Virginia history, tourism and career opportunities to life in the classroom…

“It’s gonna allow you to learn all about the many counties in our state, the incredible parks that we have, the rivers, and how West Virginia has one of the richest histories in the entire world, and you’re gonna get to learn all of that through Mountain Moves.”
