CDS ARREST & BENCH WARRANTS SERVED
On Saturday, January 17, 2026 at approximately 2:27 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department observed Jeremiah Tigner walking in the area of Baltimore Street. The officers had knowledge that Tigner had 4 active bench warrants. Police arrested Tigner and transported him to police headquarters. The warrants were issued as the result of Tigner failing to appear in court on original charges of CDS: Possess Paraphernalia (x3) and Grocery Carts-Removal. Tigner was also found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was issued criminal citations for the drug violations and then transported to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on four $250 bonds.
