City Names New Historic Planner

The City of Cumberland has announced that Dawn Hein is the new Historic Preservation Planner, filling the role left vacant when Ruth Davis Rogers relocated to Carroll County.  Hein has 25 years of professional experience including being the Heritage Area Director in Garrett County, Preservation Director and Curator at Evergreen Heritage Center and a Historic Preservation Specialist with Ratio Architects in Indianapolis, Indiana. Hein says she looks forward to continuing to honor Cumberland’s past and support its future.
