On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Brian Lindeman.  The warrant was issued as the result of Lindeman violating probation.  He was originally charged with Violate Protective Order.  He was arrested and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing.  At the conclusion, he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

BENCH WARRANT SERVED

 

On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Jeremiah Tigner.  The warrant was issued as the result of Tigner failing to appear in court on an original charge of CDS: Possess-Not Cannabis. He was arrested and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing.  At the conclusion, he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $1,000 percentage bond.

TRESPASSING ARREST

 

On Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at approximately 8:45 AM, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department was conducting a foot patrol of the Frederick Street parking garage when he located a male sleeping in an area posted against trespassers.  The male was contacted and identified as Tyler Mellott-Nave.  He was arrested and issued a criminal citation.  Mellott-Nave was released pending trial.

BURGLARY ARRESTS

 

On Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at approximately 9:50 AM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 200 block of E. Harrison Street to check the premise.  Police contacted the owner who requested the check due to people illegally entering his property.  Officers searched the property and located Eric Brewington and Kaitlyn Alexander inside the residence.  It was determined that neither subject had permission to be at the property.  Brewington and Alexander were arrested.  At approximately 11:49 AM, officers responded back to the same residence for a breaking and entering.  Officers located Malik Freeman at the residence and placed him under arrest.  Freeman was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  All subjects were seen by a District Court Commissioner for bond hearings and released on their personal recognizance.

CHARGES:  Burglary-4th Degree-Dwelling, Trespass: Posted Property, CDS: Possess Paraphernalia

 

 

DISORDERLY CONDUCT ARREST

 

On Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at approximately 12:37 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the area of a business on Queen City Drive for an assault in progress.  Officers contacted one of the parties involved and identified him as Shaquille Clinton.  Clinton was observed arguing with a female.  Police ordered Clinton several times to stop yelling as his behavior was attracting the attention of bystanders.  It was reported that Clinton had argued with the female and another male and then got into a physical altercation with the male.  It was also reported that Clinton took the female’s vehicle keys and threw them across the parking lot.  After further investigation, Clinton was placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking.  He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and released on his personal recognizance.

On Thursday, June 11, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Jason Crabtree.  The warrant was issued as the result of Crabtree violating probation.  He was originally charged with Disorderly Conduct.  He was arrested and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing.  At the conclusion, he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
