City Police Report Saturday
On April 24, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served two bench warrants on Nicholi Sneden. The warrants were issued as the result of Sneden violating probation on original charges of Assault-2nd Degree. He was arrested and found to be in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia. Sneden was issued a criminal citation for the drug violation and seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. He was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

CDS ARRESTS
On Friday, April 24, 2026 at approximately 1:20 PM, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of S. Centre Street. Police identified the occupants as Glenn Westfall and Seth Thompson. A Police K-9 alerted to the odor of drugs in the vehicle and a search was conducted. Westfall was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Thompson was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Westfall and Thompson were arrested and transported to police headquarters. They were issued criminal citations and released pending trial.
