City Representatives Attend MML Conference

Several members from the City of Cumberland staff recently attended the Maryland Municipal League Summer Conference in Ocean City. Although held at the beach resort, the conference focuses on training and meeting with state officials. “Having those conversations, you learn what they’re looking for. The things that they’re looking to put money into. So, we had meetings with DHCD and then all the secretaries. There was a Secretaries Roundtable so we met with the Department of Transportation and MDE and Planning.”
