City Updates Meeting Agenda Access

The City of Cumberland has revamped the way agendas for Mayor and City Council meetings and other city groups appear on the City’s website.  The website, cumberlandmd.gov, has a new Agenda and Minutes tab which opens a Portal where agenda items have summaries and supporting information.  City Administrator Jeff Silka says the new layout makes accessing each agenda easier…

“Sometimes we have thirty or forty orders—you’re talking hundreds of pages of backup—but all the documentation, the backup is put on for the orders and they’re accessible a hundred percent to the public.”
