County Recognizes Problem Gambling Awareness Month
Allegany County has recognized March as Problem Gambling Awareness Month with an official proclamation. The Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling reports that 20% of bankruptcies are linked to gambling, divorces are more likely, and one in six people with the addiction attempt suicide.
