The Allegany County Board of Education has announced its student member for next school year.  Adaline Carder, a Fort Hill High School student, will serve as the student member of the Allegany County Board of Education. Carder has served as a Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference ambassador and student ambassador for the Maryland Business Roundtable.  She plans to survey student opinions on issues such as schedule proposals and phone policies and then communicate those views to school board members.
