“The latest run-up driven by escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran as well as a drop in Russia’s refining capacity. While drivers in the majority of states are shelling out four dollars plus per gallon on average, they’re paying close to five dollars or more in a handful of states including California, Hawaii, and Washington state.”
