Hike For Homeless Benefits Union Rescue Mission

The fifth annual “Hike for the Homeless” will take place this year on September 26 at Rocky Gap State Park.  The event has become an annual fundraiser for the programs under the umbrella of the Union Rescue Mission. Monies raised provide support for the mission’s emergency housing, case management, food program and medical clinic as well as the cold weather shelter. The hike begins and ends at the main beach with a picnic afterwards.  For registration information, visit urmcumberland.org.
