Mall Hoping to Retain TJ Maxx

Over three years of problems with air conditioning at Country Club Mall has caused issues with shoppers and retailers alike – some residents avoiding the mall altogether and mall stores installing boxy on-floor systems to keep shops cool. “The HVAC is being fixed. Two of the three units have been fixed. They are waiting on parts for the third unit. TJ Maxx is closed. Whether that’s permanent or not, they said have been trying to work with TJ Maxx. Once they get the air conditioning fixed, they are going to be working with them to see if they can keep them.”
