Jim Zamagias

Nearly $25 million has been dispersed across Mid-Atlantic States from the Federal Emergency Management Agency including Maryland.  The funds are an effort to strengthen community resilience, restore critical infrastructure and invest in mitigation measures to reduce future disaster damage, especially from flood.  Maryland specifically received over $660,000 to update building codes to higher standards in an effort to reduce the risk of flooding statewide.
