More Details On City’s America 250 Parade

There are more than 500 participants scheduled to participate in the City of Cumberland’s America250 Parade. The parade will step off at 1pm this Saturday from the corner of Baltimore and Mechanic Streets. The parade includes three divisions with a variety of groups from across the county including bands, non-profits, and businesses. “We’re going to have DJ Jimmy Hook playing music out by the waterfall. The Allegany Arts Council, they will be doing free face painting. The streets will be closed and there will be an open container in place. We’re going to have about five or six food trucks, we’re working on some breweries.”
