Four candidates from Cumberland were in competition in the Mayoral election.  After Tuesday’s Primary Election, that number is now two.  Incumbent Ray Morriss and challenger Darrell Lee Powell will now campaign until November’s General Election for the top seat in Cumberland.  Morriss received 56% of the vote while Powell came in second with 24%.  William Taccino finished with 10% and Dana Tinnen came in fourth with 9%.  WCBC News spoke with Ray Morriss who discussed the issues heading into the fall campaign.
