National Day Of Prayer Events Scheduled

Cumberland will be participating in its 30^th annual National Day of Prayer tomorrow with different events. At 6:30 tonight, a service is planned at Central Assembly of God on Bedford Street where this year’s special guest, Pastor Rob McCoy will speak. Pastor Jim Jeffries tells WCBC about the events planned for Thursday…

“We start out at 8 o’clock at the fairgrounds with the prayer breakfast. We’re going to be praying our elected officials, our first responders. And then at 11am in front of City Hall, we’re going to be gathering for prayer and there’s going to be praise teams there.”
