Nine Candidates for County Commissioner

The liveliest local political race this coming year appears to be for Allegany County Commissioner.  Until recently only the three incumbent Republicans had filed.  Now two Democrats and several other Republicans are competing with David Caporale, Creade Brodie, Jr., and Bill Atkinson.  Competing in the June primary will be Republicans Seth Bernard, Leona McTaggart, Dee Dee Ritchie, and David Robison.  Only the top 3 Republicans in the June primary will advance to November, where Democrats Chelsea Boor and Carol Taccino await them.
