Older WV Residents Affected by Loss of ACA Tax Credits

The elimination of premium tax credits for Affordable Care Act coverage has led to the loss of almost six million healthcare enrollments, according to a new report In West Virginia. Older residents, small business owners and farmers are most likely to be impacted by the sudden spike in premiums. A spokesperson for Protect Our Care says those between the ages of 50 and 64 who don’t qualify for Medicaid yet are now facing much higher costs for health care…
