Pittsburgh’s Parkway East to Close for Weeks

Travelers to Pittsburgh should be aware that the Parkway East will be starting a total closure for 25 days starting Friday at 9 p.m.  The cause of the closure is replacing a bridge adjacent to the Squirrel Hill Tunnel.  The roadway carries 100,000 vehicles per day and will be closed until August 3.
