Recharge WV Improves Employment Opportunities

Recharge West Virginia was a part of this year’s legislative agenda entitled “Jobs First Opportunity Everywhere.”  West Virginia’s Speaker of the House Roger Hanshaw told Secretary of State Kris Warner on a recent podcast that the Recharge West Virginia initiative focuses on upscaling employee opportunities and giving employers a chance to grow their workforce from a technical perspective…

“An employer who puts his or her employee through a training program that in some way getting additional training and skills that results in that employee’s salary increasing about 25 or more percent, the employer gets the cost of that covered up to a hundred grand a year.”
