Redistricting Led to Lobbyist For City

Several years ago when redistricting drew new lines in Allegany and Garrett County, the City of Cumberland lost a voice in Annapolis. With only one delegate for the area, the city took the step to hire a lobbyist to assist in getting a larger and louder presence in the state capital. “How can we continue to have that voice and do that networking and we hired Percy Public Affairs – Rich Reinhardt. So what he does is he helps us with legislation and the writing of legislation and then also, obviously, working with the legislators to get that legislation passed.”
