Reed Write-In Candidate in WV

Former Delegate Ken Reed has filed to run as a write-in candidate for State Senate in West Virginia District 15, covering Hampshire, Morgan and part of Berkeley County. Reed previously served in the House of Delegates. In a statement, Reed said he would have voted against HB2014 which allows microgrid power, saying it limits public service commission oversight and gives data centers incentives not available to other businesses. He is challenging Republican incumbent Darren Thorne and Democrat Elizabeth Ferris.
