Report Shows More FDNY Cancers

The New York Fire Department released its fourth report on cancers ahead of Friday’s 25^th anniversary of 9/11. Chief Medical Officer Dr. David Prezant says cancer cases continue to be diagnosed long after the terror attack because of toxins released when buildings collapsed…

“We have 4,257 members out of the 16,000 that currently have had at least one cancer. In fact, 26% of our members have had more than one cancer. And just in the last year, we’ve certified 461 with new cancers.”
