Republicans Hold 2:1 Advantage in County Voters

The Allegany County Republican Alliance held its monthly meeting Thursday night.  A feature was the release of voter statistics for the county.  Total registration has increased from March 1 by 328, and the new total is 45,162 registered voters.  Of that number, 23,751 are Republicans; 10,809 are Democrats; and 9,700 are unaffiliated.  Allegany County remains 53% Republican and 24% Democratic, unchanged from March.
