Search & Rescue Exercise This Week

Maryland Emergency Management is alerting citizens to a regional search and rescue exercise taking place this week. Visitors to Gunpowder Falls State Park and Loch Raven Dam recreational areas may see operations by responders on the ground, in the water, and in aircraft in the areas as well as props and simulated structures. The exercise is scheduled for Thursday between 7am and 11:30pm as emergency responders from around the state gather for the immersive training exercise in a real-world environment.
